Custom Pool Builder in Mesa, AZ

Mesa is one of the largest cities in Arizona, with everything from older ranch homes in west Mesa to newer hillside homes near Red Mountain and the Las Sendas area. Overflow Pool Construction & Repair designs and builds custom pools in Mesa and remodels and repairs existing pools across the city.

Each project is designed by Dane Palmero, in the pool industry since 1978, with 3-D renderings that let you walk through the design before construction.

Overflow Pools handles the whole life of a pool in Mesa, from the first design to remodels and repairs years later. Our full list of pool services includes:

• New custom pools and spas, designed in 3-D before construction, including vanishing edges, sun shelves and spools
• Pool remodeling: plaster, pebble and mini pebble finishes, waterline tile, coping and decking such as travertine, flagstone and Kool Deck
• Water and fire features: sheer descents, natural rock waterfalls, bubblers and fire bowls
• Equipment and repair: variable speed pumps, filters, heaters and heat pumps, LED lighting, valves and automation
• Outdoor living: BBQs and outdoor kitchens, fireplaces and fire pits

Hillside homes in northeast Mesa can make room for dramatic designs, with vanishing edges and raised spas that take advantage of the views. In more established parts of Mesa, many projects start with an existing pool that needs a new finish, new tile or a more efficient equipment pad.

Hard water is a fact of life across the Valley, and Mesa is no exception. Calcium builds up along the tile line over time, so we cover calcium cleaning, tile choices that are easier to maintain, and water chemistry when we plan a remodel.

Overflow Pool Construction & Repair is owned by Dane Palmero, who began in the pool industry in 1978 as an underwater pool repair specialist and has designed and built pools since 1982. He personally designs every project and is the author of the Ultimate Pool Buyers Guide.

Our work has earned a World’s Greatest Pools award, and we were chosen to build the custom big cat pools for the Phoenix Zoo, a project you can read about in No Kitty Pool: A Builder Tackles the Big Cats.
