Custom Pool Builder in Surprise, AZ

Surprise is one of the fastest-growing cities in the West Valley, and many of its homes were built in master-planned communities with backyards that are ready for a pool. Overflow Pool Construction & Repair designs and builds custom pools, spas and spools for Surprise homeowners and remodels and repairs existing pools.

Every design is drawn by Dane Palmero, who uses 3-D renderings so you can see how the pool, patio and landscaping fit your yard before anything is dug.

Overflow Pools handles the whole life of a pool in Surprise, from the first design to remodels and repairs years later. Our full list of pool services includes:

• New custom pools and spas, designed in 3-D before construction, including vanishing edges, sun shelves and spools
• Pool remodeling: plaster, pebble and mini pebble finishes, waterline tile, coping and decking such as travertine, flagstone and Kool Deck
• Water and fire features: sheer descents, natural rock waterfalls, bubblers and fire bowls
• Equipment and repair: variable speed pumps, filters, heaters and heat pumps, LED lighting, valves and automation
• Outdoor living: BBQs and outdoor kitchens, fireplaces and fire pits

Newer homes in Surprise often have smaller, rectangular yards governed by HOA guidelines. A thoughtful layout can still deliver a pool with a sun shelf, a spa or a combined spool, plus shade and a place to sit, without swallowing the entire yard.

For buyers watching the budget, our sister company Simply Fun Pools offers a range of fixed-plan pools built by the same team. For custom designs, water features and outdoor living, Overflow Pools handles the full project.

Overflow Pool Construction & Repair is owned by Dane Palmero, who began in the pool industry in 1978 as an underwater pool repair specialist and has designed and built pools since 1982. He personally designs every project and is the author of the Ultimate Pool Buyers Guide.

Our work has earned a World’s Greatest Pools award, and we were chosen to build the custom big cat pools for the Phoenix Zoo, a project you can read about in No Kitty Pool: A Builder Tackles the Big Cats.
